Horror Books Summer 2021

Books with a scary plot that are to be released this summer. These are a few books that I cannot wait to read this summer. A few are repeat authors for me, and one debut author.

Survive the Night by Riley Sager

The book takes place in 1991, involves 2 strangers sharing a ride to go back to Ohio for the holidays. Is one a serial killer? Sager's books have been a must read since I first read Final Girls.

The Final Girl Support Group by Grady Hendrix

I adored The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires, so it is no surprise this book is on my list. The book is about 5 final girls and their therapist in a support group who have survive the unthinkable. I am looking forward to a book about a group of kick-ass women.

The Dead and the Dark by Courtney Gould

This is a YA debut novel about teenagers disappearing in Oregon, the daughter of one of TV's most popular ghost hunters and a town where something just feels different. I am looking forward to this book about the paranormal.

My Heart is a Chainsaw by Stephen Graham Jones

Stephen Graham Jones is one of favorite authors I discovered in the last year and I am so excited about this book. It is described as "homage to horror and revenge and triumph." Count me in to read this!
